DARIUS MEŠKAUSKAS

Born in 1964 in Vilnius. 1988 graduated from Lithuanian conservatoire. Darius Meskauskas 1988-1990 was working in Marijampole Drama Theatre, from 1990 is an actor of Klaipeda State Drama Theatre. From 2004 he is also a lecturer in Klaipeda University. Darius created many characteristic roles in theatre, cinema and television. He played Hamlet in Oskaras Korsunovas production of W.Shakespeare’s play and was nominated for this role as Best Actor of a Year 2008.
