FOUR AND A HALF VISIONS. PERCEPTIONS

Intimate and personal, this mono performance took almost three years to stage. Using the language of movement and images it speaks about the truth and freedom, about how to keep one’s identity and the subject of home. The last part of the vision is devoted to one more subject – invisibility, which can not be seen or touched, but despite this we are constantly surrounded by it. This piece is as though a study of every separate form of life and the whole of the forms, where molecule and space, seed and tree, individual and the life of all mankind are compared. All of us are a separate micro cosmos, but put together we make up a large perfectly functioning organism.

Tautvilas Gurevičius, a young choreographer, has already many roles in his repertoire of dance and drama performances. He has also written or selected music for several dance pieces. As a choreographer Gurevičius debuted in 2005, together with Petras Lisauskas, with whom he studied together. They produced Crossroads in the framework of the Open Space programme of the young artists at the Arts Printing House. Four and a Half Visions has also been created for the programme.
