AGNĖ KUZMICKAITĖ

Born in 1981. 1999-2001 studied at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University Architecture department, 2001 entered Vilnius Art Academy and gained Master degree in costume design in 2006. In 2010 entered doctoral Art studies in Vilnius Art Academy. Agne Kuzmickaite has already made a name for herself in the fashion industry. In Lithuania itself, as well as some of its neighbours, Agne participated in the Fashion Weeks and has won various prizes. Her work is not only known on the runway, she has also shown her creativity in costume design for many theatre houses throughout Europe.

Agne Kuzmickaite created costumes mostly for the performances directed by Oskaras Korsunovas, such as: Playing the victim in 2005, Hamlet in 2008, The Lower Depths in 2010, The Road To Damascus staged in Oslo National Theatre, The Magic Flute in Turin Teatro Regio in 2006, The Taming of a Shrew staged in Sankt Petersburg Alexandrinsky Theatre in 2010. She is also working with the theatre director Jonas Vaitkus.
